I was not here on March 26, because I was at home sick.
Today in Mr. Schick’s western civilization class, we took a test on Ancient Greece. The test was not hard, but I did study. I hope everybody studied hard and did well on our test because the end of the quarter is tomorrow. Hopefully everybody’s grades look good and everyone has a good grade in western civ.  The first day of the fourth quarter my group and I (Emma, Lily, Jillian, and Grace) will be presenting our group project with the class. Our project is on how the Greeks used horses during their time. Hopefully we get a good grade on our project to start out the fourth and LAST quarter strong. I love school, but I cannot wait for the fourth quarter to be over and for the school to do exams and then be on summer break. Wish us luck on our group project and presentation. Happy second to last day of third quarter!

Today I joined a group form project. Our project is going to be on Greek horses and how they were beneficial in their society. This is some of our information: Information: The cost of purchasing and keeping a horse was, as now, extremely expensive, which restricted their use to the wealthy landowning elite https://itsallgreeklondon.wordpress.com/2014/10/22/the-significance-of-the-horse-in-ancient-greece/ Horses in Ancient Greece were called “hippos” and were first domesticated by the Kazakhstans. Some parts of Greece were known for their horsemanship like Thessaly. Horses in Ancient Greece represented wealth and status. Horses played a big role in war and Greek mythology. Poseidon, one of the Gods was credited with creating the first horse, and Athena is believed to have tamed it. In the Iliad, the epic poem created by Homer, horses drive the chariots of the heroes and are praised for their swiftness and beautiful coats. The God Achilles is known for his two i...
